How MDMS went from 0 to 23 clients using PromoRepublic’s White Label solution

Managed Digital Media Services Inc., aka MDMS, is a year-old Canadian marketing agency that makes sense of the digital marketing chaos for businesses, eliminates their struggle to come up with new content, and allows them to focus on their day-to-day operations instead.

Mitch Poirier, the owner, decided to partner up with PromoRepublic in 2019, and it helped him get funding and begin his agency journey.

Background

To get clients that would use social media automation, Mitch tried working with tools like Hootsuite and SocialBee. But none of them provided an all-in-one package – a social media calendar and editable content templates for clients to build their social media visibility and a White Label platform for Mitch to grow his agency business.

After breaking free from another company that provided neither adequate service nor solutions, Mitch started looking for software that would support his vision of having a social media platform as a unique selling proposition. In 2019, Mitch partnered up with PromoRepublic and now he manages social media for 23 of his 42 clients.

If PromoRepublic didn’t exist, I don’t know if I would have succeeded. I would probably be working for someone else instead of running my own business. Your product was the anchor for the launch of my entire company because having the branded White Label platform helped us to get the funding we needed and get clients on board.

PromoRepublic platform as a foundation for MDMS’s services

Clients that MDMS create content for love using the White Label platform. Once the posts are scheduled a week or two in advance, Mitch sends his clients an email letting them know that the content is ready to be reviewed and approved. But the platform is great for even more.

What starts out as a content delivery service for social media spins off into providing other services such as refreshing or taking over the client’s website, managing SEO, or running paid ads.

Calendar and Graphics Editor as two strongest points of the platform

Mitch’s customers love that they can select all their social media profiles in the calendar and see all the posts scheduled for the week. In case there are some posts still pending approval or something is missing, they can spot it, so there’s little chance of things falling through the cracks. And being able to reuse the evergreen content definitely saves time.

The PromoRepublic automation platform solves small business owners’ marketing problems, and MDMS’s outstanding customer service inspires its customers to share positive reviews on multiple channels. This makes it possible for Mitch to continue growing his client base. 80% of the leads he gets are word of mouth referrals.

A self-service solution for marketing agencies

Mitch also has some clients who use the self-service model. It’s easy to educate these clients because the platform is so user friendly and the content ideas are broken down by clients’ industries, so they don’t get intimidated by not knowing what to create. MDMS works with a wide range of industries – real estate, business coaching, finance, education, and IT.

As Mitch trained his clients, they went from seeing social media posting as something so daunting that they never wanted to touch it, to spending just an hour a week to easily schedule and/or create a full week’s content. Even Mitch’s competitor, who had been using Hootsuite, canceled that subscription and now enjoys MDMS.

The bottom-line feedback I have for PromoRepublic is that I truly enjoy my experience working with them. They’re all great people, really supportive and they take the time to understand and respond to my requests and that’s just great. That’s the kind of partnership I was looking for.
