What do we usually imagine when we hear about tools? And what about marketing tools? Let’s deal with it and see how it works.

Marketing tools are tools that marketing specialists use to create, improve and promote their products and services. In this context, the word ‘tools‘ refers to techniques, strategies, and materials. Most companies prefer email marketing, advertising, target, research of the market, collecting data etc. That all makes it possible to promote the product and bust sales.

Every company has a list of tools that are responsible for different strategies and aims. Something tries to bust and raise sales, something helps with research and collecting data.  

As you understand, there are lots of different tools for marketing. But it’s important to understand what can work for your campaign and which aims do you follow. In other words, which tools do you need to achieve your primary goals and objectives. In most cases, people use multiple marketing tools at the same time. 

All of the tools can be classified and it makes it easier to find what you need. Let’s explore some of them. 

SOCIAL MEDIA

It’s really hard to imagine the modern internet without social media. Each person has their own page on Facebook, somebody prefers Twitter and lots of society can’t live without Instagram. Social media is a perfect way to make good relationships with you customer and keep in touch with him. Blogs, pages of companies, tweets, photos — that’s not a full list of points that we can do in social media.

Internet marketing can’t live without socials, where we can place our advertising. So, that’s a perfect way to communicate with potential customers, discover what they need and work with the target there. ‘Cause a huge part of modern society is going on social media and it’s a perfect place to offer them to get acquainted with the product. 

Just imagine, what product will you choose: unknown or something that has a cool account in social and usually appears on your feed? 

SEO 

SEO is also an important part of people. But if we compare it with social media, users don’t know that SEO is an integral part of their lives. When you search something on Google, first links will include all keywords that you need in your request. 

There are several ways to increase your SEO. One of the first steps is to secure a reliable and simple domain name that is relevant to your site, industry, or keywords you want to match for.

Surveys

Surveys are useful if you need to check your product and find out the ways of improving it. Surveys also help to make a research about comparing your product with competitors. If you have a competent survey, you can get useful answers that can help to be more competitive. Many companies ignore it and it’s a big mistake that stops them from improving. 

It can be a survey like online doc, phone call, face-to-face format. Just choose which one is more comfortable for you and your audience.

Google analytics 

Every marketing specialist has faced Google analytics and knows that this thing is very useful for each company. That is one of the main sources that gives you information about where have your customers came from. Also it shares the information about who these people are and which kind of content prefer visitors of your site. You can also use Google Analytics to work out visitor conversions. This data will help you set up conversion goals.

Mails

Direct email marketing was created and targeted for potential clients. Every internet user regularly starts to get email shots from different companies. And if this information is useful, creative and not very annoying, your customer will continue to wait for your emails with info. 

Media monitoring tools

These tools are aimed to scan info on the Internet for mentions and conversations about your company. These tools scan, for example, social media sites, forums, blogs, and videos.

Promotional marketing tools

Traditional promotional items are well-known and familiar to all of us. Here we can name brochures, business cards, press kits, websites, informational videos, and merchandise. If you can touch it — great! You get in touch with your potential customers in every way!

Сommunication platforms 

Communication is an integral part of society. So be sure that you have a platform that helps you to organize projects of your brand and communicate with teammates. This is an essential marketing tool because, depending on the platform chosen, it can keep a business running smoothly and keep communication lines open.

  • Understand why do you need
  • Analyze your audience and understand their needs
  • Know your product from cover to cover…
  • … therefore know which clients do you need to search
