Instagram is one of the most friendly and attractive social media for each and every aim. It suits unique people that just like to share photo moments of their lives, for influencers with big audiences and different types of content. Also, it’s good for brands and any type of business. You can create lots of content with a long story or be adept at microblogging, but one is common for all kinds of content — on social media that is called Instagram.

So when you want to have a good account with quality content, you need to make it unique and memorable for users. They should remember you during lots of common accounts and watch for your posts. Except for interesting and beautiful visuals, posts need to include good texts. And they should be easy to read.

Texts are easier to read when they’re not solid and consist of spaces and line breaks. But sometimes Insta doesn’t allowed to do them and your interesting text turns into a lots of words that are hard to read. That’s a real problem and we need to solve it, right?

In this post, I’ll show you a variety of techniques to add line breaks to Instagram, so you can see your variants and choose the best one for you from this list.

Use special websites

On of the easiest ways to create Instagram line breaks is to visit a website where you paste in your Instagram bio or caption. Then it generates a version of your post with line breaks that is allowed to copy and paste back to Instagram. There are quite a few of these websites, but my favorites are:

All websites are different and unique so they have their pluses and minuses, advantages and disadvantages. But it all contains a box with spaces for your text and an option to copy this text into Insta. Do we need more? I don’t think so.

Instagram apps with line breaks

Well, browsers and websites are good enough, but some people don’t like it and prefer apps. It’s useful and you don’t need to use your keyboard. Just a joke, it’s a question of preference. Here are some of them:

Space

Postme

Caption writer

They are safe to download and use, so if you prefer this way — feel free to use. The app interfaces are fairly straightforward, but the free versions are ridden with ads so the user-experience isn’t great. You can upgrade to the paid versions of these apps so that you can use them without annoying ads. All will depend from your needs, but usually free versions are enough.

Add spaces and line breaks in Instagram app

After you type the text into an Instagram box of text, use your smartphone’s keyboard and just push the button of space or line break. But there is one secret — there shouldn’t be a space place between cursor and punctuation marks. Doing so will cause Instagram to smush the two paragraphs together and ignore the space all together.

Follow these steps if you have an Iphone:

  1. Turn on number’s menu by touching 123
  2. The button “Enter” will appears and you should press it. It will help you to separate your text.

Follow these steps if you have an Android:

  1. Just press ENTER. That’s all. Really.
  2. Keep in your hand that there shouldn’t be space between cursor and punctuation marks. That’s important, really.

So, we solve problems with posts. What’s about bio?

It’s not your fault. Just Instagram’s specificity. We offer you to cope secret space here: «⠀». Yes, there it is. Copied? Okay! How should you use it?

  • Open your bio with whole text
  • Delete the previous space
  • Go to the new line and copy the space above
  • Then go to the new line

Spaces in Insta are important

Honestly, it’s easier to read the information when it has structure and order. Also when you get lots of information during the day it can make a little mess in your head. I promise, posts and accounts with structure should make an order in users’ heads and you will be remembered by them.

Call-to-action buttons to look more professional

Calls to action aren’t just important for business – customers want and expect them. Many people depend upon the CTA somewhere on your profile. They’ve read your ad copy, are interested in engaging with your brand, and look for the CTA button to learn what to do next. Omitting the CTA can confuse readers and hurt your chances of sealing the conversion. CTA buttons make it easy for customers to do what you want them to do. That’s good for them and good for business.

There are some circumstances when you want your brand to be predictable. Predictability makes your company trustworthy and easy to engage with. The CTA is one area where it pays to be as predictable and intuitive as possible. Visitors look for your CTA buttons and feel confused and disappointed when they don’t find them. Strong calls to action on social media are expected parts of the campaign.

A call to action is the finishing touch on any type of content and on your Instagram page too. It is the cherry on top that every user (consciously or subconsciously) wants. Your lead has read or at least scanned your content, and may be on the fence about taking the next step. The right CTA at the perfect moment can push the person in the right direction, sealing the conversion and ideally creating a loyal customer. The CTA can be a subtle or blunt way to tell your customer that he or she should take action now for the best benefit.

Whether you use your CTA to create a sense of urgency or to gently steer your users toward the checkout line, the important thing is that you use it. Ignoring the CTA is a rookie mistake that could make your numbers drop drastically. So, if you think about your Instagram account improvement, let your call to action shine. The results will follow.
